Titicaca Lake & Islands
From the port of Puno we will take a motorboat to the floating islands of the Uros. The fishermen and hunters who inhabit the floating islands are known as the "water tribe" because they must maintainthe Islands, adding new layers of totora reeds, which grow in the lake, to ensure the islands stay afloat.
Following this exciting tour, we will be led to the scenic Island of Taquile, to experience the traditional rustic life of the islanders, with its rich and colorful landscaping.We will also spend a little time at a craft fair on the plaza that sells exceptional, fine-quality wool goods.
Finally, we will visit Amantani Island, known for its two pre-Inca temples dedicated to the earth's fertility. In honor of this we will have a channeling and meditation with Gaia.
